Rustic kitchen with island wood-finished
Classicism and rustic spirit go hand in hand in this impressive kitchen on the northern coast of France. The authors? None other than the team of our local distributor LG Agencement, and we'll let you in on all the secrets of this project!
Let's start with the layout. The kitchen is the lower part of a large open plan space with two levels. Spacious and square in plan, the kitchen is bordered on one side by the stairs leading to the rest of the room and, on the adjoining wall, by a spectacular window with access to the garden. This layout immediately suggested an L-shaped layout, which is what LG Agencement did. On one side of this L, we find everything we need for food preparation, from the imposing gas cooker (worthy of a restaurant) to the oven, as well as a wide variety of furniture for storing utensils and ingredients. Everything is arranged in a line of base and wall units. On the wall there is also a decorative hood that brings back memories of another era.
The whole kitchen has a traditional flavour thanks to our distributor's decision to use our Aviano model. Made of oak wood and with a classic frame, this front can be lacquered with a matt effect and respecting the wood grain pattern in any colour from the R.A.L. colour chart. In this case, the chosen colour is a dark petrol blue, which matches perfectly with the interior of the furniture, our Amazonas laminate model, with an oak effect.
On the wall that closes this L, we find a large piece of furniture generated by columns from floor to ceiling. In the corner, we start with a large built-in fridge, followed by a more formal display cabinet for storing mainly crockery, glassware and other items for the table.
And in the centre of this L, a kitchen island that will not leave you indifferent. Dedicated to food preparation and the sink, LG Agencement has wisely used it to delimit the work area from the dining area. The latter has a large rectangular table overlooking the garden.
